If you have a Canada Student Loan and or a Provincial Student Loan which is placed for collection the status may be reversed and the account returned to the bank or the Government. This process must be worked on by an agent from Zero Balance Financial.

There is absolutely NO reason for a student loan to become delinquent and affect your credit.

If you have credit cards and other debts which are affecting your credit, debt consolidations (not bankruptcy or consumer proposals), new loan facilities or other forms of financing may be the right solution for you.

At all costs you should avoid having an account go to collections. However, Life Happens! If you have an account in collections do not be intimidated by the collector. Here are some tips.

  • Never make an arrangement to pay when you get a first call from a collector.
  • Never pay by credit card to a collection agency.
  • Never be intimidated by the collector, and don't feel pressured to state how and when you will pay the account. From the first call you have three days to make a plan. Use them!

Contact us to act your agents and resolve the issue(s) for you. We negotiate collection accounts with all agencies in Canada and the United States collecting for Federal and Provincial Governments.

The cost of going to University costs a tremendous amount. Getting student loans is easy but paying them back is hard. I was worried about carring this kind of debt after graduation. I puchased "In School and In Debt" and now have a better understanding on how to graduate with little to no debt.

Thanks

My student loans were growing and I was worried that I would be paying for them for many years after graduating. I read the book "In School and In Debt" and now I have control over my student loans.

Thanks
